I’m actually really disturbed and disappointed by all of this commentary, since it very clearly reflects how ingrained size issues are in the hearts and minds of society.  All of these comments translate, essentially, to: “Oh my God!  A fat girl can be loved!  This is so inspiring!”  What the fuck.

If you are really completely blown away by the fact that a woman who isn’t shaped like a runway model can be loved and happy, then you need to reevaluate how “body positive” you really are.

Because when you reblog a picture of two people in love, and all you have to say about it is related to the size of the woman in the picture, then you’re failing.
